This quote means that when you do the right thing in life it is better than winning or losing. It is better to do the right thing because when you don the wrong thing you can fuck up and lose. When you do the right thing you can win by doing the right thing. It is better to lose with honor than to cheat your way to the top. If you cheat on a test you can feel good. When you ace the test by not cheating you feel better then you would if you cheated on that test.
